Luke started his Martial Arts training at 15 years old, he became a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Hapkido.
In 1997 Luke bought the Lion’s Den and began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and is currently Brown Belt in the Will/Machado organisation. He also trained under Joe LaFerla in boxing, and received his 3rd Dan Black Belt in Pankration.
Luke is undefeated in the ring in both Amateur Boxing and Pancrase MMA. He is the 2002 middleweight Pankration Australian world champion, the 2003 Extreme Fighting Championship Australian welterweight champion and placed 2nd in the Novice 2000 BJJ Pan Pacific championships, 1st Blue Belt 2001 BJJ Sydney grappling championship and boasts numerus other BJJ accolades.
Luke has trained 5 State and 3 Australian Machado BJJ champions, 6 N.S.W Pankration champions, 4 Australian Pankration champions, and several fighters for amateur Kickboxing.
